Do you know a physician who’s passionate about improving healthcare access and quality for underserved Californians? 

On Monday, May 18, at 6-7 PM PT, our Center for Health Workforce, or HEAL, is hosting an information session about the California HEAL Program, a one-year immersive program for early-career physicians who want to deepen their impact and leadership in resource-denied settings across the state. 

The program is open to physicians who will have completed residency in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, or Medicine-Pediatrics by the start of the program, July 2027. 

During the session, attendees will hear from current California HEAL Fellows who will share what you can expect in the program, from immersive social medicine work and mentorship to leadership development and connection to a global health community.
