Human Rights and Refugee Health
Traditional human rights reporting focuses on documentation of egregious or individual cases based on a legal approach. Increasingly, epidemiological frameworks and methodologies are being utilized to better assess and document the impacts of conflict on human health. Dr. Alden Blair will discuss a brief history of the intersection of conflict, health, and human rights from a research perspective. He will also discuss the various career trajectories that one can explore if interested in becoming more involved.
