Join the UC Global Health Institute for an engaging Grand Rounds on nutrition and food security on Friday, May 8th, 2026 from 12:00-1:00pm (PT), featuring a multidisciplinary panel of experts working at the intersection of global nutrition and food access.

• Sheri Weiser, MD, MPH, MA - Professor of Medicine and Internist, UC San Francisco's Division of HIV, Infectious Disease, and Global Medicine

This session will bring together diverse perspectives on the structural, social, and health dimensions of food access, from local policy to global research and clinical practice. Together, they will explore innovative strategies to address food insecurity, advance equitable food systems, and improve health outcomes across communities in California and around the world.
